Commercial project examples –

• Six Senses Hotel, Douro Valley, Portugal. Ombak were contacted by a New York based interior designer to discuss an order of 43 custom coffee tables for the re-fit of a premium hotel. Working with the interior designer in New York, the hotel chain procurement company based in Dubai and the hotel itself in Portugal – it truly was an international effort. Ombak delivered the goods to the highest standard and within the exacting timescales.

• Parx Cuisine, Aberdeen, UK. Ombak provided 16 custom tables, benches and chairs for a complete fit-out of a brand new business venture in Aberdeen. Situated in the central business district – the owner wanted to create something fresh, new and to stand out from the competition. Ombak delivered the goods the highest standard and under specific timescales for the opening of the unit.

• Pelaton Cycles, London, UK. A fresh concept in retail located in the trendy London area of Inspitalfields – the client wanted furniture to match the ethos of the business. A cycle shop crossed with a coffee shop, the client needed the furniture to be innovative like the concept. Ombak provided custom sized and design retail display units, storage units and dining furniture.

• RNLI Porth Dinllaen, Nefyn, UK. Ombak were asked to provide a custom sized table for the opening of the new lifeboat station. Ombak did this at a nominal sum as a gesture for the brave men and women who risk their lives for this incredible charity.

• Mary Ann Weeks Salon, Guildford, UK. The salon purchased a stock item from the Ombak website. Two years on from that purchase, the salon contacted Ombak to be the main furniture contractor for a full extension of the salon with three new treatment rooms. Due to the the complexity of the designs and the timescales, this was possibly the most complex project Ombak have been involved with to date.
